That means that on October 28, 2014, Mr. Burnett’s music store inside the Dolly umberella celebrates it’s 6th anniversary. But wait, there’s more!
October 28 is also store owner Bucks Burnett’s birthday. He turned 50 when CLOUD 8 was born, so he now turns 56.

From the late Sixties to the mid Seventies, Reprise Records, based at Warner Bros. Records in Burbank, was without a doubt the coolest and weirdest major label in the world. Or in the universe for that matter.
Fathom if you can all four of these maniacs being on the same record label at the same time, a label started by Frank Sinatra, no less!

Cloud 8 Music owner Bucks Burnett actually worked at Reprise Records in 1985. His store in Dolly Python always carries mint vintage pressings by these misfits.
It is simply an era that cannot be Reprised.

Last November he went to England. He visited Andy Partridge and Jimmy Page in their homes. He tripped his brains out by the sea, as seen here. He also came back with a lot of great UK vintage pressings of vinyl records.
If you want him to have more great import records for you to buy at Cloud 8 in Dolly Python, he’s going to need more money. Because flying to England to hang with legends, scoring mushrooms, and finding great old LP pressings, is very very expensive.

In 1974 Cloud 8 Music owner Bucks Burnett snuck into a Queen sound check and met the entire band including Freddie.
40 years later in 2014 he went backstage as Brian May’s personal guest. In short, he is a lifelong Queen fanatic.
The Cloud 8 location in Dolly Python has literally every Queen album ever released on vinyl, with variations such as import, promo and bootleg copies. There is simply no other store in Dallas as Queen crazy as Cloud 8.
All LPs are in near mint condition. If you saw the band turn American Airlines Center upside down recently, Dolly Python is the only place where you will find a Queen collection suited for royalty. Get some killer Queen!
