Dr. Hobson’s Pain Dispeller
This is an old box and bottle from the ‘Quackery’ medicine period of the 19th century. Quackery Medicine- ‘A medical movement that rose to prominence with the advent of mass advertising. ‘Quackery’ referred to the fake treatments and curatives of individuals who had more charisma and salesmanship than valid medical knowledge.’ This bottle contained 50 percent alcohol and chloroform. A real cure all for sure. $16.
Sacred Heart Painting
Beautiful sacred heart painting. About a foot in length with a gorgeous gilded frame. In excellent condition. Probably Victorian if not from the 1920’s. $70
The Cinic Shoe
Great old store display of a nurse for ‘The Clinic Shoe’. Wonderful Americana. About a foot 1/2 tall. Her paint is original but it is coming off in a few places. Probably from the late 1950’s early 1960’s. $195

Romancing the Blade
I have had many requests for straight razors lately, so the last time I took a road trip, I was sure to pick some up. Apparently, there are some gentlemen in our mists or someone is debating slitting somebody’s throat. (old school style.)
